After a knee injury and surgery, 2025 was a year of rehabilitation and a gradual return to full training for Toni Vodišek.
The process was not only focused on physical fitness, but also on stability, movement control and regaining the feeling on the water. The training sessions were adapted, with a strong emphasis on prevention and long-term fitness.
In a sport where speeds exceed 70 km/h, complete trust in the body is key. That is why patience was one of the most important elements of the return.
“The biggest challenge was to remain patient. Now the real feeling is slowly returning,” says Toni.
Returning to competitions is therefore not only a physical step forward, but also an important mental milestone.
